Club Óige an Luraigh was set up in 2010 to address the needs of the young people growing up in the Carn Tóchair area. For many of the young people in our area, Irish is their second language, and without post primary provision of Irish Medium Education in the area, Club Óige Luraigh aims to fill this gap by providing a wide range of fun and interactive activities in a safe environment through the medium of Irish.
There are two youth club sessions per week catering for children 8 - 11 years old and teenagers aged 12 - 18 years of age.
The youth club undertakes a number of activities and projects throughout the year promoting personal and social development of the young people whilst also providing the youth with leadership and management opportunities.
